Futuremark 3DMark 11

Futuremark 3DMark 11 – the benchmark that you have been waiting all quarter for. Initially slated for a 30th November launch, 3DMark 11 was pushed back a week, and happens to coincide with the launch of the GeForce GTX 570 GPU.

3DMark 11 is designed for testing DirectX 11 performance in both Windows 7 and Windows Vista. A benchmark run consists of four graphics tests, one CPU test and one combined CPU and GPU test. There is extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11, including compute shaders, multi-threading and tessellation.
