AMD today released its redesigned and revamped graphics software suite Radeon Software Crimson Edition.
The new Crimson software doesn’t just bring visual changes but also boasts of 12 new or enhanced features, up to 20 per cent higher graphics performance, greater generational energy efficiency, and improved stability as well.
The new Crimson Radeon Settings is claimed to be ‘lightning fast’, starting up 10 times faster and initializing displays 3 times faster than previous AMD Catalyst drivers. The user-interface has also been streamlined now and includes various new options such as a game manager, overdrive, display, and AMD Eyefinity panels. The software introduces first public support of AMD’s LiquidVR technology that helps dramatically improve frames per second (FPS), responsiveness, and latency in Virtual Reality applications.
The Radeon Software Crimson Edition is now available for PCs running Windows 7, 8.1 or Windows 10.
