AMD may bundle Wraith CPU cooler with FX-8350 and FX-6350

It looks like AMD may bundle its Wraith stock CPU cooler with the AM3+ socket FX-8350 and FX-6350 CPUs. The addition of the cooler is said to include a price hike from the standard editions of the CPUs by as much as $30.

With a 125W TDP, there’s no question that the FX-6350 and FX-8350 are power hungry. With base clocks ranging from 4GHz to 4.2GHz, the processors are in need of a cooling solution that’s better than what is traditionally included in the box, which may be a reason for AMD’s decision to bundle the Wraith cooler with its 92mm fans with the processors.

The cooler made its debut at CES, and is currently bundled with the FX-8370. While it’s not as efficient as what you’d get with a custom vendor such as Noctua, reviews have shows that it is quiet and better than AMD’s stock offerings of old.
