Alleged Sony Xperia Z5 Plus render shows up online

Finally the first Sony Xperia Z5 Plus render has leaked online. The device is allegedly codenamed S70+ and is said to be Sony’s first Xperia smartphone to pack a 4K resolution display.

As you can easily tell from the render, the Xperia Z5 Plus won’t be any different than the Xperia Z3+ as far as the design goes. Looks like Sony isn’t ready to refresh its omni-balance design language anytime soon. However, we do see that there will be two new color options – Gold and Chrome. You can also spot the fingerprint scanner on the right side of the smartphone.

The Xperia Z5 Plus is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and pack a 5.5-inch sized display. Other specs are unknown at this point but we could expect to find out more as we get closer to IFA 2015.
