In order to take on the rising crop of affordable smartphones with an integrated fingerprint scanner, Lenovo is soon going to launch the Lenovo Vibe X3 Lite phablet with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a relatively large battery.
According to a report from Mobile-Dad, the smartphone will be priced at 899 Yuan in the Chinese market and is codenamed “Lenovo K51c78. As far as design goes, the Vibe X3 Lite is nearly identical to the Vibe X3 and comes with a polycarbonate build.
It will reportedly pack a 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek MT5653 octa-core 1.3 GHz chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage, dual SIM standby support, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity, Dolby Atmos, dual speakers, and a 3,300mAh capacity battery. On the software front, the Vibe X3 Lite will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the manufacturer’s custom skin running on top.
