Alleged iPhone 5S motherboard leaks online

A motherboard which allegedly belongs to the next generation iPhone has leaked online. It looks quite similar to the one found on the iPhone 5.

The Apple iPhone 5S is one of the most hotly anticipated smartphones of this quarter. Apple is expected to unveil the device this September, alongside a budget offering called iPhone Lite. The company is yet to confirm its release schedule for its upcoming smartphones. Nevertheless, in the meantime we get to see a lot of parts and components leak online that are allegedly from the unreleased device. In this particular case, we’re looking at the motherboard, which is without a doubt a very essential component of the upcoming smartphone.

There’s always a shadow of doubt that can be cast on these components, one can’t be certain if they are indeed the real deal. This particular component was leaked by iHospital, a repair shop based in Hong Kong. From the looks of it, the iPhone 5S motherboard is similar to that of iPhone 5. This doesn’t come as a surprise, considering the fact that rumors suggest iPhone 5S will be quite similar to the iPhone 5. The upcoming smartphone is expected to have a nominally faster processor with 2GB of RAM, a fingerprint sensor and a 12 megapixel camera.

The iPhone 5S is likely to be unveiled at an event in September, rumor has it that due to production issues, it is possible that the device might not be available for shipping until early October.
