Alcatel’s upcoming OneTouch Idol 4 Android smartphone has been spotted on the GFXBench benchmark database.
Actually, phablet sounds more apt as the device will sport a 5.5-inch display according to the benchmark listing. The resolution is going to be 1080 x 1920, exactly what we expect on a mid-range phablet. What’s more interesting however, is that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 652 (previously Snapdragon 620) octa-core chipset with the Adreno 510 GPU.
The OneTouch Idol 4 is also expected to feature 3GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage (most likely expandable), 16MP rear camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calls. Along with being powered by a powerful chipset under the hood, the device will also be running on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
