Alcatel’s upcoming Windows 10 Mobile flagship has been spotted on the popular GFXBench graphics benchmark database.
The GFXBench listing for the Alcatel 6071W Idol Pro 4 reveals the smartphone will indeed be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset as rumored previously. However, for some strange reason, GFXBench lists the device as having “just” 2GB of RAM, which doesn’t make sense at all. There is 64GB of onboard storage though, which is exactly what we expect on a 2016 flagship smartphone.
The 6.0” display of the smartphone will feature 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution and not Quad HD as most other new flagship smartphones. On the imaging front, we could be looking at a 20MP primary shooter at the back and a 9MP selfie camera on the front.
As suggested by the render leaked yesterday, the Idol 4 Pro will be almost identical to the Idol 4S in terms of the design. However, as evident by the GFXBench listing, the Idol 4 Pro will be much more impressive than the Idol 4S as far as the hardware goes.
