Acer launches a new 24-inch 1080p TN monitor

Acer K24HLbmidx

Acer has launched an affordable new 24-inch 1080p monitor, carrying the model number K242HLbmidx.

The 24-inch monitor offers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and utilizes a TN panel with 5ms response time, 170/160 degree viewing angles, 16:9 aspect ratio, maximum brightness of 250 nits, and a flicker-free backlight. The flicker-free technology is definitely going to be a major USP for the monitor as not every 24-inch TN monitor out there comes with flicker-free technology. In addition to that, the monitor also includes a ‘Blue Light reduction’ feature which should help reduce eyestrain further.

Connectivity options include a single D-Sub, DVI-D and an HDMI port. The monitor also includes twin 2W stereo speakers. The monitor is currently on sale for 19,000 Yen, which converts to $171 based on the current exchange rate.
