Samsung S8 and S8+ Pre-Order Collections Begin

Consumers who had successfully pre-ordered the Galaxy S8 or S8+ can now rejoice and start collecting their much-anticipated Galaxy S8 and S8+ devices. These devices can be collected from M1, Singtel, StarHub, Samsung Experience Stores and Galaxy Studio. For those who havey pre-ordered the Galaxy S8 and S8+ online from major consumer electronics stores such as Best Denki, Gain City, Courts, Hachi, Newstead, Harvey Norman and Lazada Singapore will instead be receiving their new devices via delivery. Those who have pre-ordered the device will be the first in Singapore to get their new Galaxy S8 and S8+ devices, before the official retail launch.

“The response we have seen for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ since we first announced its launch in Singapore has been very encouraging. This is evident from the pre-order and registration of interest numbers for the devices, which have more than doubled as compared to the combined total of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge pre-orders and registrations of interest,” said Eugene Goh, Vice President, IT & Mobile, Samsung Electronics Singapore.

At 12 noon on 7 April, pre-orders / registrations of interest began at telecommunication operators, Samsung Store online, Samsung Experience Stores as well as online at major consumer electronics stores. At the Galaxy Studio, pre-orders started at 11am on 14 April 2017. Once customers have collected their pre-ordered device and made full payment, they will receive a complimentary Wireless Charger Convertible in Black worth $118. Those who managed to pre-order the Galaxy S8 and S8+ without contract at Samsung Store online, Samsung Experience Stores, Galaxy Studio and online Consumer Electronics Stores will additionally be the recipient of a $100 Samsung Accessories Voucher upon collection or delivery of their devices.

Local Pricing and Availability

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be officially available for the masses from 29 April at the RRP of $1,148 and $1,298 respectively.

The devices will be Available in Maple Gold, Midnight Black and Orchid Gray.
