At the start of the year, there were rumours reporting that the Mi Pad 3 was going to be developed, and with the most recent report, we believe that Xiaomi is likely to launch two screen and software variants of the Mi Pad 3.
The first variant will come with a 7.9-inch display, alongside a 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage capacity. The tablet will be based on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and is estimated to cost around 1299 yuan and 1599 yuan for the 64GB/128GB storage variants respectively.
The next version of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 will be the Mi Pad 3 with a significantly larger 9.7-inch display. However, apart from the display, the rest of the specifications are likely to remain the same, with similar RAM and storage capacities like the smaller Mi Pad 3. However, this one is tipped to make use of an Intel 8750 processor and run a Windows 10 OS instead of an Android OS. It is estimated that the pricing is likely to begin from 1699 yuan.
As of this moment, there is no information on the display resolution of both these Xiaomi tabs. At the same time, the processor, battery capacity, and camera sensors of these tablets from Xiaomi are yet to be known (except for the processor of the Mi Pad 3).
The latest reports point to the likelihood that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 and Mi Pad 3 Pro could possibly be announced along with the flagship Mi 6, which is rumoured to be delayed till May.
