While the Xiaomi smartwatch for adults is still a few months away, the company has unveiled a new smartwatch targeted at kids.
Dubbed the Mi Bunny (or the Mitu Watch), the smartwatch is made out of polycarbonate and comes with silicone straps. It includes support for a number of modern connectivity features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, along with GPS and GLONASS. Surprisingly, the Mi Bunny is capable of phone calls as well, with a pre-loaded prepaid SIM card inside.
A dedicated SOS button on the smartwatch will send out the current location of the device along with a short audio recording as well. There is a 300mAh capacity battery inside with a claimed standby time of up to six days.
Xiaomi has priced the smartwatch at 299 Yuan ($46).
