This past week, Xiaomi introduced its latest global flagship smartphone, the Mi 6. At the announcement event, the company revealed that the handset will be available only in four color options. However, according to the handset’s TENAA listing, Xiaomi Mi 6 will have a total of 11 color options.
The full list of colors include Black, White, Blue, Silver, Gold, Gray, Pink, Champagne Gold, Dark Gray, Cherry Blossom, and Frosted Black. However, it is definitely possible that Xiaomi could offer most of these options only for consumers in China. In markets outside China, the Mi 6 is likely to be available in the standard four colors announced at the announcement event – Black, Blue, Silver, and White.
Xiaomi Mi 6 is all set to go on sale in China by the end of this month, but it isn’t yet clear when the flagship smartphone will start showing up in other markets. In terms of specs, the Mi 6 is a beast of a device, easily rivalling the Samsung Galaxy S8. The Mi 6 features a 5.15-inch display with 1080p resolution and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core SoC with the Adreno 540 GPU. It comes standard with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and up to 128GB of built-in storage. Rest of the key specs include a 12MP + 12MP dual-camera setup at the back, 8MP selfie camera, dual stereo speakers, USB Type-C port, 3350mAh battery, and all the latest connectivity features.
