A widescreen wonder monitor from Asus

Asus has released their Designo Curve MX34VQ monitor in Singapore and it is quite a wonder – a 34-inch Ultra-Wide QHD-resolution curved monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio for multimedia use. The monitor features a a 178-degree wide-view screen for true panoramic viewing so that you can enjoy an immersive cinematic experience with a high 3000:1 contrast ratio and Asus Flicker-free technology. A relatively low 4ms response time and up to 100Mhz refresh rate (via Adaptive Sync) ensures that the MX34VQ is also a pretty decent monitor for gaming duties.

The Designo Curve MX34VQ monitor is equipped with Asus SonicMaster audio technology, co-developed by Harman Kardon, that features dual 8-watt speakers for home-theatre-quality audio as well as a built-in Qi wireless charging pad for compatible devices from Asus, LG, HP, Motorola, Microsoft, Nokia, Samsung and Sony. The Designo Curve MX34VQ monitor is priced at S$1,598.
