Toys R' Us Nabi Tablet for kids

In November, Toys R'Us has introduced a new tablet device for kids (aged six and older). Called Nabi, this tablet is powered by a 533MHz dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU with 4GB storage and sports a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen (800×480 resolution). It runs Google Android operating system and has a customized user interface that is easy for younglings to navigate the screens, play games and read books. On top of that, the Nabi also has a "Mommy Mode" that offers a more mature experience. But best of all, unlike most tablets on the market, the Toys R'Us Nabi is selling at an affordable US$199.99.

BlackBerry PlayBook

Like other device makers, Research in Motion has also jumped onto the tablet wagon and launched their PlayBook. Designed to deliver professional and consumer-friendly experiences, the BlackBerry Playbook measures half an inch thin, weighs 425g and features a 7-inch high resolution touch display. The tablet also boasts web browsing with Adobe Flash support, true-multitasking, high definition multimedia, advanced security features as well as enterprise support. However, only the Wi-Fi models are available, no news on a PlayBook 3G version yet.
