Vivo Y51 and Y51L entry-level smartphones get certified by China’s TENAA

Vivo Y51

Two upcoming Vivo entry-level Android smartphones have been certified by TENAA – the Y51 and Y51L.

In terms of specs, the two devices aren’t exactly going to be highly impressive. Both the smartphones will sport a 5-inch display with 540 x 960 qHD resolution, quad-core 1.2 GHz SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage with a microSD card slot for expansion, 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP front-facing unit for selfies and video calls.

As far as dimensions go, the smartphones measure 143.8 x 71.7 x 7.52mm and weigh 157 grams. The main difference between the two smartphones isn’t quite clear as both of them appear to be identical as far as the specs go. More details should surface once Vivo officially introduces these affordable Android Lollipop running smartphones.
