ViewSonic launches the ViewPad 4 and V350 in Taiwan

Moving on we have the V350 which is not a ViewPad for what it’s worth. The unique selling point of the V350 is that it’s a dual-SIM Android handset and the primary SIM supports the 900, 1900 and 2100MHz UMTS bands and both SIMs are quad band GSM. This makes the V350 an attractive handset for travellers that want something better than the otherwise mostly basic dual-SIM phones currently available.

The hardware specs aren’t as impressive this time around though with a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 SoC, 512MB of RAM and storage, a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen with 480×320 resolution, a rear 5 Megapixel camera, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, aGPS, a micro SD card slot and again a range of sensors. Once again we’re looking at Android 2.2, but for some reason the V350 has a more powerful battery pack at 1,500mAh. The V350 measures 114x61x12.5mm (HxWxD) and weighs in at 118.5g. Price wise this is actually quite an affordable option at NT$9,900 (S$426), at least for what’s on offer.
