The ROG Swift PG27UQ Is ASUS’s Top-Specced Gaming Monitor; Available for Pre-Order at S$3,499

ASUS has announced the availability of the ROG Swift PG27UQ for pre-order. The G-Sync-enabled 27-inch 4K UHD PG27UQ is the world’s first gaming monitor with DisplayHDR 1000 certification, offering immense colour depth and dynamic range both in gaming and professional usage.

The 596.16 x 335.34mm gives for a 26.93-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. With a non-glare matte screen and a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m2 (typical/SDR on) or 1000 cd/m2 (peak/ HDR on), the PG27UQ ensures content delivered is perceived accurately in all conditions. Its 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) display can be overclocked to a 144Hz refresh rate that works together with Nvidia G-Sync display technology to eliminate screen tearing and graphics-related lag.

Its IPS quantum dot display delivers factory pre-calibrated colour accuracy with an error rate of under 3.0, along with a 97% DCI-P3 and 99% Adobe RGB colour gamut coverage, delivering colours that are true-to-life. Its Nvidia G-Sync HDR pedigree delivers HDR imagery with luminance levels that are more natural life-like. The LED backlight on board is dynamically controlled over 384 zones in order to maximise contrast for natural variance in tonality.

An ambient light sensor adjusts the brightness levels to ensure total comfort throughout the day in different lighting conditions – perfect for marathon gamers and busy professionals and content creators.

As part of its gaming DNA, the ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ also features Aura Sync lighting, which works in conjunction with ROG Light Signal and Light Signature projection kit to create an immersive and fun atmosphere.
