Specific details and new press shot of Nokia’s Lumia 1020 surfaces

We’re only a couple days away from (possibly) the official announcement of the Nokia 1020 EOS super phone, but before that some new details have rolled in to confirm previous speculations.

As previous rumors suggested, the phone will be called the Lumia 1020, as the ‘909’ tag was just an earlier name for the un-finalized hardware.

Regarding the specific specs, the phone will sport optical image stabilization (OIS), 2GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage with no option to expand via SD, FM radio, NFC, and optional wireless charging backplate.

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ll also want to know about the specifics regarding the camera settings. The Lumia 1020 will be able to take 32MP and 5MP shots at the same time in 16:9, with the 5MP shot to have oversampling (7 pixels slapped together to form 1 super pixel). 4:3 shots, on the other hand, will be taken using the camera’s 38MP mode.

Included in the phone will be the Pro Camera app, which will let you manipulate advanced configurations, such as manipulating ISO settings, white balance, manual focus, shutter speed, and flash.

Microsoft will be receiving their shipment on June July 22, whereas AT&T is expected to start distributing the phone at the end of June July. The price of the phone off-contract will be $602 from AT&T, but at the moment no details about the subsidized price have been revealed. People will be able to pick from a pool of yellow, white and black, and for now the phone is an AT&T exclusive.
