Sony Ericsson G705

Although the Sony Ericsson G705 does not have a touchscreen display and isn’t the highest megapixel rated camera phone in the market, it does offer a huge number of features you would want in a stylish and slim mobile phone. We like the phone’s decent camera function and quality and if you are a music fan, you won’t be disappointed by its good audio quality. With integrated Wi-Fi, you don’t need to have a HSDPA data plan to surf the web as you can always connect to the free [email protected] hotspot.

The G705 comes in Majestic Black and Silky Gold, but note that the Silky Gold version is exclusively available only from SingTel. It is currently retailing at an attractive SGD658 (without plan).

Ergonomics/Aesthetics
The G705 we had was the Majestic Black which looks serious, yet gorgeous. It is also very slim, but probably not the slimmest slider phone around.
8.3
Performance
Despite only a 3.2-megapixel camera, it captures images vividly. But night shots require adequate lighting. Music and Video playback are impressive overall.
8.3
Features
The phone may be small and thin, but it has abundant features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, camera and video recording, music playback etc
8.5
Usability
Menu navigation is a lot easier than browsing the web. One complaint is the phone may be be very responsive at times.
7.5
Price/Package
For such feature-full slider phone, SGD658 is quite reasonable; and you may get it cheaper with extension of contract or new line.
