Sony Announces New Product Lineup at CES

7th January 2010 – Sony Electronics Asia Pacific presents its first USB Portable Power Supply Adaptor for today’s mobile users who often carry multiple gadgets at one go. The USB Portable Power Supply Adaptor can serve as a portable power supply enabling consumers to power up their devices anywhere, anytime. 
Equipped with USB Authentication software which allows instant charging with any USB device, the adaptor is readily compatible with a wide variety of USB-based products, such as mobile phones, Walkman® players, iPod® players, and portable game consoles. 
Sony’s USB Portable Power Supply Adaptor comes with conventional AC input that provides fast charging for consumers. Additionally, the Adaptor features a unique dual module design that has an input module for charging and a detachable USB output module with Li-ion rechargeable battery for portable power supply. It enables consumers to detach and carry just the USB output module when they need extra power on-the-go for their mobile devices.
The new USB Portable Power Supply Adaptor will be available in selected countries in Asia Pacific and the Middle East from February 2010.
