Samsung S2 Portable 160GB Hard Disk Review

The unit we have is the piano black version. The front and the back are black in color, while the sides are metallic silver.

The top surface has a simple and repetitive pattern of circles printed into it.

The back of the drive has a leather-like surface and is anti-slip. It prevents the drive from sliding around (and possibly even dropping off the edge of your table) if you accidentally nudge the drive.

A mini USB 2.0 port provides the connection for this drive. There is a blue LED to indicate operation of the drive. It it located near where the plastic tab is on the top surface of the drive. (The plastic tab and sheet is just a protective cover for the top surface.)

What’s in the box is just the drive itself, a quick start guide, and the USB 2.0 cable. The bundle softwares are loaded into the Samsung drive itself.
