Even though it is way too early for us to discuss Galaxy S8 rumors, a new rumor out of China has managed to draw our attention.
According to the new rumor, the Galaxy S8 will be Samsung’s first flagship device to rock a 2160 x 3840 resolution UHD Super AMOLED display. Not just that, the Galaxy S8 is apparently also going to be equipped with dual cameras at the back, similar to the LG G5. While the Galaxy S8 might very well be the first Galaxy flagship with a UHD display, it may not be the first with a dual-camera setup at the back. That’s because the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 could hold that distinction, if recent rumors are to be believed.
With UHD or 4K resolution, the Galaxy S8 display should allow for a much improved VR experience, perhaps paired with a new and improved Gear VR headset.
