Samsung debuts Galaxy On5 Pro and On7 Pro in India

Samsung today launched two new Galaxy smartphones in India, the Galaxy On5 Pro and the Galaxy On7 Pro. The two smartphones succeed the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 smartphones that made their debut in India late last year.

The Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro comes with a 5” 720 x 1280 HD TFT LCD display and packs the Exynos 3475 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3 GHz. There is also 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal expandable storage, an 8MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, 4G LTE support, and a 2600mAh battery. The dual-SIM handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, with new features such as S-Bike mode and Ultra Data Saving mode.

The Galaxy On7 Pro features a larger 5.5” LCD display, although with the same 720 x 1280 HD resolution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 410 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.2 GHz, with the Adreno 306 GPU. It is similar in the memory department to the Galaxy On5 Pro, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal expandable memory. Other specs include a 13MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, and a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity features and software wise, the Galaxy On7 Pro is identical to the Galaxy On5 Pro.

Both smartphones are now on sale exclusively via Amazon India in Black and Gold color options. The Galaxy On5 Pro is priced at Rs.9,190 ($137) while the Galaxy On7 Pro costs Rs.11,190 ($167).
