Review: Dead Space 3 (PC)

Dead Space 3 is here! Can we expect a competent sequel, or are we in for a really bad day in deep space? We've dismembered the game and have a verdict for you!

Dead Space 3 brings its usual game to the table, mostly living up to its pedigree and providing another terrifying venture into space that will make you jolt out of your seat on at least a few occasions. Thankfully though, most of the actual fears I had for this game, based on rumors and trends I believed to be seeing in Dead Space 2, have proven untrue: Unlike what some had thought, Visceral Games' third trip into the dark void has not turned into an action adventure; it is still claustrophobic, dark and frightening, and it's doing what it does best. And you can bring a friend this time.
