Benchmarking is run more than once to ensure consistency. The latest drivers as of late October 2007 are used.

To check out the Point of View 8600 GT card’s HDMI, we connected the test system to a Philips 32" LCD (1366 x 768 screen resolution) via the supplied HDMI cable.

The cable is of reasonable quality, and is made by the same manufacturer (Copartner) who does DVI cables for some major LCD brands.

First we tried playing back a short movie clip about the Honda Civic Type R 2007. Looks not bad at all!

Or how about some gaming in the living room? (All you need is a cordless keyboard and mouse, and you’re good to go!)

Here’s some scenes snapped directly in front of the Philips LCD (pardon the coloured lines, they don’t appear when viewing with the human eye).
