PCI Express 3.0 Delayed

Looks like we will not be getting PCI Express 3.0 products as early as it seems as PCI SIG has formally delayed the release of the specification until the second quarter of 2010.

Yes and that means, you will prolly get products on 3.0 specification as early as 2011.

Reason for the delay was needed in order to “maintain backward compatibility with
current PCI Express standards”. Well, insignificant as it looks, that is prolly good news as your old PCI-e 1.0 standard cards will still work on 3.0 standards
