Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac with OS X Mavericks optimization will release early next month

A new report reveals that Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac, the software that allows users to natively run Windows applications without requiring a reboot, will release early next month. The new Parallels software brings a host of improvements as well as optimization of the upcoming OS X Mavericks release.

Apple unveiled OS X 10.9 Mavericks back in June at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2013. The latest Mac software release brings new features and improvements to the platform. Right now only the developer previews have been released, but the company has said that it plans on releasing Mavericks for the public this fall. It is expected that the public release will also take place in September, so Parallels Desktop 9 release seems to have been timed perfectly.

The new Parallels software comes with an improved “Coherence View,” which basically makes Windows apps feel as if they are natively running on Mac. Copy and paste support for virtual Mac OS X machines has also been confirmed by select beta testers who have access to Parallels Desktop 9. There’s also an improved interface which makes it easy to install Windows particularly on those Macs that don’t have a DVD SuperDrive. The procedure to create and customize key commands has been improved as well.

Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac is said to release in the first week of September. Release date reportedly leaked from online retailers hints at a September 5 release. Parallels says that those users who purchases Parallels Desktop 8 from now till October 31st from authorized resellers will receive a free upgrade to the latest software.
