Palit today announced the newest member of its GameRock series graphics cards, the top-of-the-line GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GameRock Premium Edition.
What sets the new Palit GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GameRock Premium Edition is the new 4 fan cooling solution that is called “TurboJET4”. There are dual “Double-Fans” on the card, featuring an anti-vortex design. Palit claims this design offers “high-centralized air volume and provides much more efficient heat dissipation”. Additionally, it is said to provide lower noise when compared to normal dual-fan designs.
Moving on to the other key features, the card features RGB LED illumination that can be customized to user’s preference or can be set to change in line with the GPU temperature. The lighting can even be synchronized with your motherboard, thanks to Palit RGB Sync feature. Other key features include a protective stylish backplate, 12 + 2 phase power design for superior overclocking, Dual BIOS program, and a Honecomb bracket design that helps increase airflow by up to 15%.
The card features a 1594 MHz base clock and a 1708 MHz boost clock in OC mode. The 11GB of GDDR5X memory is clocked at 11000 MHz. Display connectors include a dual-link DVI, HDMI 2.0b, and 3x DisplayPort 1.4.
No word on pricing or availability yet, but you can expect it to be priced at a premium when compared to the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition cards.
