Oppo’s OnePlus One gets the iFixit treatment

Phone gets low marks because of lack of easy repairability.

The OnePlus One, a rebranded Oppo phone targeted to the American market, is expected to take the US market by storm later this year as many expect the low-priced ($350 in the US off-contract) high-feature phone to be a runaway hit like Xiaomi was in China.

The handset comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD screen, 3 GB RAM, 64 GB internal memory, Snapdragon 801, 13 MP camera, Wi-Fi ac and LTE Cat 4 connectivity along with a 3100 mAh battery. The phone runs a customized version of Android created by CyanogenMod

While the OnePlus One doesn’t launch in the US until the fall, iFixit managed to get their hands on the device to give it their usual teardown treatment. As you can see in the video below, they give the phone low “iFixit marks” because of its lack of repairability.
