Oppo debuts A33 entry-level smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC

Oppo today announced the A33, a new budget Android smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC.

The smartphone features a 5-inch display with 540 x 960 qHD resolution 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Color OS 2.1 operating system. Overall pretty decent specs for an entry-level device. The device also looks quite good, especially for its price tag.

In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 142.7 x 71.7 x 7.55mm and weighs in at 146 grams. Oppo has announced the smartphone only in China so far, but we expect it to be released in a few other markets soon. In China, the smartphone has been priced at 1499 Yuan, which converts to about $235.
