OnePlus 3T 128GB Variant Gets Discontinued

OnePlus has silently discontinued the 128GB variant of its OnePlus 3T flagship smartphone. While the company has not issued any press statement regarding the same, a company rep has confirmed it.

The OnePlus support rep did not reveal any details though, merely stating that the company felt that it needed to focus its efforts on a single flagship device. But of course, those of you who have already placed an order for a 128GB OnePlus 3T in Gunmetal don’t have a reason to worry, as OnePlus will continue to provide software support for the variant.

OnePlus may have stopped selling the 128GB model on its website, but a few retailers do seem to have some stocks left. Lazada Singapore currently has the Midnight Black OnePlus 3T with 128GB of onboard storage in stock, so if you’re interested in getting one, you will need to place your order as soon as possible.

If you’re not in a hurry though, it makes more sense to wait for the OnePlus 5. Based on all the leaks so far, the OnePlus 5 is going to be a major upgrade over the OnePlus 3 in almost all areas. Some of the rumored specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, dual rear-facing cameras, ceramic build, and updated connectivity features.
