Nvidia has released version 378.78 of the GeForce WHQL drivers today, bringing official support for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. The latest Ghost Recon title was released a few days ago and boasts numerous Nvidia-specific graphic enhancements, so it is odd to see Nvidia coming out with the Game Ready driver so late, but users with Nvidia cards will hopefully see improved performance in the game once they have the latest driver installed.
In addition to being game ready for Ghost Recon Wildlands, the latest drive brings performance enhancement for DirectX 12 games, and also adds support for the GeForce 1080 Ti that was announced earlier this month. As usual, a couple of SLI profiles have been added and updated, including profiles for The Division (another Tom Clancy title) and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
The 378.78 driver is for GeForce 400 and higher graphics cards and works on every Windows version since (and including) Windows Vista. Grab it from Nvidia’s website.
