In its recent press release, Nikon has announced the D3s, bringing
video recording at 24 frames per second with autofocus and a “new
algorithm” to lessen the effect of rolling shutter.

Sources do indicate that there is no image stabilizing for the video recording. The D3s, powered by the original 12.1-megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor gives the utmost potential to deliver the quality even at high ISOs. They have included a new Hi3 extended sensitivity setting that allows stills and movie capture at a whopping ISO 102,400.

Estimated retail price will be around of US$5,199.95 for body only and will be retail date should be somewhere in November this year.
