New LG Optimus G2 image leaks, Optimus L9 II confirmed

LG Optimus G2 leak image

Freshly leaked images show us what seems to be LG’s upcoming flagship Optimus G2 smartphone. Also included is a leaked image of the upcoming Optimus L9 II value oriented smartphone.

Remember the leaked images of an unknown LG branded handset with extremely thin bezels that notorious twitter icon evleaks posted? A new image featuring the same device has cropped up, and all the sensors in our head scream “Optimus G2”. It seems that the handset has run into an unexpected software issue, at least that’s what the leaked image shows us. Once again we are treated with a glimpse to those extremely thin bezels. Although not confirmed, the LG Optimus G2 is rumored to pack the Snapdragon 800 chipset (Krait 400 CPU, Adreno 330 GPU) which will be powering the 5-inch 1080p real estate on top.

LG Optimus L9 II

The other unannounced device to be caught on camera was the LG Optimus L9 II, destined to be the successor of (you guessed it right) the Optimus L9 from 2012. The L9 caters to more value oriented consumers, trying to achieve a perfect balance between powerful specifications, good display and an affordable price. The new Optimus L9 II will pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 dual-core chipset (Krait 200 CPU, Adreno 305 GPU) clocked in at 1.4 GHz, will feature a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display and will run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
