A new set of leaked images has confirmed that the upcoming LG flagship for 1H 2016, the G5 will sport a dual camera setup at the back.
The first set of images allegedly show a G5 prototype enclosed in a protective box that hides pretty much the entire smartphone. Fortunately, the rear camera cutout gives us a peek at the camera setup, and as you can clearly see, there are two rear cameras on the handset. Below the dual camera setup, you can also see a circular cutout, possibly for the fingerprint sensor.
In addition to the leaked spy shots, a new case renders has also been leaked online, revealing the same dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor at the back. All of these images also confirm the G5 won’t feature volume control buttons on the rear. As you can see in the first set of leaked spy shots, they have been moved to the side of the handset, like most other smartphones out there. On the bottom of the handset, we see a cutout for the speaker, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The LG G5 is expected to be officially unveiled at the company’s Mobile World Congress event next month.
