MSI’s new Core Frozr L CPU cooler featuring award-winning MSI TORX Fan design is now on sale worldwide through the company’s retailer network.
Designed to provide best-in-class thermal performance, the Core Frozr L comes with the MSI patented TORX Fan technology found on the company’s GAMING series graphics cards. The unique combination of a dispersion fan blade and a traditional fan blade ensures that the cooler stays relatively silent even under extreme loads. The fan spins between 500 to 1800 RPM, pushing out 19.79 to 71.27 CFM of air. The Core Frozr L uses a solid nickel-plated copper baseplate, which creates a large highly conductive area to absorb the heat emitted from the CPU and transfer it to the connected heatpipes. A total of four 8mm SuperPipes connect from the baseplate into an array of aluminum fins, which are equipped with Airflow Control technology to direct the flow of air precisely onto the heat pipes for more efficient heat dispersion. To further help ensure high thermal performance, MSI bundles the Core Frozr L with premium Thermal Compound X thermal grease in the box.
The MSI Core Frozr L supports popular Intel sockets such as LGA 2011-3/2011/1366/1156/1155/1151/1150/775 and AMD sockets suck as AM4/FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2. The CPU cooler measures 140mm x 155 x 84mm in terms of size and weighs in at 960 grams. MSI claims the Core Frozr L has a life expectancy (MTTF) of around 150,000 hours (25℃).
