Motorola launches ATRIX Android smartphone in Singapore

Update: StarHub has unveiled the price plan for the Motorola Xoom 3G. The Motorola Xoom 3G is retailing at S$498 with two-year contract for the 7.2Mbps mobile broadband plan at S$47.29 per month subscription.

The 3G variant of the Motorola XOOM will be available in Singapore from 28 May 2011 at all three telecommunications operators – SingTel, StarHub and M1 – and at Challenger, Courts, Newstead, Best Denki and Harvey Norman at a recommended retail price of S$988.

Motorola XOOM allows users to create and consume content anywhere with a 3G or Wi-Fi network available. With features including a front-facing camera, widescreen HD display, Google Mobile services and Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) platform,

Motorola Mobility also has several accessories to accompany the XOOM, including a standard dock for watching video content or listening to music through external speakers; a speaker high definition (HD) dock for sending HD content directly to a TV or clearly listening to music through two built-in speakers; and a custom Bluetooth wireless keyboard with special Android shortcut keys

The following smart accessories are available from Challenger, Courts, Newstead, Best Denki and Harvey Norman:

– Five colour Gel Cases – S$38
