My first reaction to the A388C was that it was a very hand phone. It doesnt feel as flimsy as the newer PDA phones around and fitted in my hands without any problem. A key problem with the recent releases of PDA + GSM phones has been the actual phone design. Motorola shines through here with a usable design. The phone looks nice except for the antenna sticking out. It would have been nicer without the antenna sticking out.

I set the A388C along side my Handspring Treo 600 and an older Nokia 6110 for comparison. Measuring 98 x 58 x 24 mm, the A388C is smaller then the Treo 600. And its comparable to non-PDA phones in terms of size.
