Microsoft Surface Phone running Windows 10 spotted in a browser benchmark

Surface

More evidence about the existence of Microsoft’s Surface Phone has ‘surfaced’ online, courtesy of HTML5test benchmark.

According to the leaked screenshot, the Surface Phone was running on Windows Phone 10.0 version and the score was recorded using the Edge 12 browser. Strangely, the device’s screen resolution has been listed to be 360 x 640, which doesn’t make any sense. It could perhaps have been an error, or the prototype may have been forced to run at a lower resolution for some reason.

Latest rumors suggest the Surface Phone could debut sometime next year and may be powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset. Other key hardware specs may not exactly be ‘top of the line’, as the device will reportedly cater to the enterprise customers specifically. A stylus is likely to be included as well, making it a strong alternative to Samsung’s Galaxy Note line.
