KEF, an indomitable name in High Fidelity Audio is renowned for its abstract icons like the Blade and the Egg, now promises an unparalleled portable audio experience with their MUO Metal wireless speaker, the latest product in the line-up of MUO portable wireless speaker range.
A collaboration between British audiohouse KEF and visionary designer Ross Lovegrove, the reflective finish of the MUO Metal is a diminutive reflection of Lovegrove’s iconic MUON loudspeaker, sharing its sculptured, organic profile. Its polished-chrome body features a subtle hairline finish that requires both craftsmanship and advanced engineering to accomplish.
The MUO Metal offers high definition sound despite its compact size. With its Uni-Q driver arrays, the compact MUO Metal is capable of filling indoor spaces while retaining accurate sound reproduction no matter the position of the listener. A sensor determines the MUO Metal’s orientation – either vertical or horizontal – and optimises output.
The MUO Metal boasts a clean, tight bass, natural treble and a fluid midrange – KEF claims CD-like quality sound for up to 12 hours when connected via Bluetooth aptX. It also supports “dual connect” for room-filling stereo sound with two MUOs.
The MUO Metal can be found in standard colours of Horizon Gold, Storm Grey, Light Silver, Neptune Blue and Sunset Orange.
Retailing in Singapore for SGD$499, the MUO Metal Wireless Speaker is available at Heeren at Robinsons Orchard, Analogue+ at VivoCity and TANGS Orchard and VivoCity.
