Starting today Nintendo is offering eShop discounts on some of the definitive Zelda classics that built the fantasy adventure genre.

Zelda 3DS SaleRunning every Thursday from now into December, Nintendo is offering sales on games featuring iconic characters like Link, Mega Man, Mario and Donkey Kong.

The first sale is focused on Link’s myriad adventures throughout the fantasy land of Hyrule, and offers savings up to 33% across Wii U and 3DS titles. Included in the discounts is Link’s debut 8-bit conquest on the NES, followed up by the platformer mashup sequel, and the Game Boy Color classic Link’s Awakening DX.

The Zelda-themed eShop sale runs from 11/14 – 11/21, and below is a list of the games included in the Nintendo eShop sale and their prices:

Nintendo 3DS

  • The Legend of Zelda (30% savings) – $3.49
  • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX (33% savings) – $3.99
  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (30% savings) – $3.49

Link will also star in the newest chapter of the ever-growing series with The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, the seventeenth Zelda game that indirectly follows the fan-favorite Link to the Past, which releases on Nov. 22, 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS.

Next up we have Mega Man taking a turn when Link steps down on Nov. 21, so be sure to check Nintendo’s eShop sales if you have a soft spot for the tiny blue hero.

Mario steps in afterwards the following Thursday and might introduce a discount on Super Mario Bros. 3, with his ape adversary Donkey Kong bumbling on the scene in December.
