Known for its wide variety of computer accessory peripherals such as the G series gaming accessories, Logitech has recently dropped the G series LIGHTSPEED Wireless Mechanical Keyboard and Wireless Gaming Mouse. Most existing computer accessories geared at gamers have been wired due to inherent limitations when it comes to speed, but Logitech claims that LIGHTSPEED Wireless Technology has been optimised and is more advanced than ‘most wired gaming keyboards’.
The Romer-G Key Switches on board the G613 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard boasts a short action that allows for quick key presses that register 25% faster than standard mechanical equivalents, all while maintaining a precise and quiet action.
Six optimally-positioned programmable keys allow access to more in-game commands and macro sequences within fingers’ reach. Different profiles that can be altered through software will allow several users to utilise the same keyboard. When connected via Bluetooth, the keyboard is also able to switch between two devices at the press of a button, enabling effective multitasking.
The G603 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse features a next generation optical sensor delivering up to 10x the power efficiency of comparable models while delivering exceptional accuracy and responsiveness up to 12,000 DPI.
The 1ms report rate on the Logitech LIGHTSPEED technology allows for an extremely short report rate that reaches ‘competition—level’ standards. This can be easily toggled to a LO mode with a 8ms report rate to extend battery life from 500 non-stop gaming hours to up to 18 months with two AA batteries. The LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse also has the ability to easily switch between two paired devices when connected via Bluetooth.
The G613 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and the G603 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse are set to be available in stores from September 2017 for retail prices of SGD$159 and SGD$109 respectively.
