LG PRADA Phone Launch in Singapore

LG and PRADA held a regional media event at the St. Regis hotel earlier today to announce the Asia Pacific launch of the latest PRADA phone by LG. On top of that, the PRADA Link bluetooth digital watch was also introduced which can remotely monitor calls and read full SMS text messages.

At the event, Chang Ma, Vice President of Marketing Strategy at LG Electronics Mobile, and Matteo Sessa Vitali, Licensing Director at PRADA, talked about the companies partnership and the launch of the mobile phone throughout Asia.

VR Zone had a hands-on with the new LG PRADA phone. The touchscreen display is very responsive, but the user interface is in black and white and not colored like other phones. The QWERTY keyboard slides out from the back and the keys are large enough  to type your messages.

The PRADA Link is a Bluetooth enabled digital watch that alerts you when there is a phone call, showing the caller ID, and you can also check your SMS messages without referring to your phone. Unfortunately, it is only designed for use with the LG PRADA phone.

The LG PRADA Phone and PRADA Link is priced at an estimated USD850 and USD430 respectively and are currently available in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
