LG BD370 Blu-ray disc player

LG has announced their latest BD370 Blu-ray disc player for users to watch their favorite Full HD movies. It supports BD Live which allows user to connect to the Internet and download movie trailers, stream videos from YouTube as well as enjoy some games.

Singapore, April 16, 2009– LG Electronics, a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, today announced the launch of its new BD370 Blu-ray player, which brings favourite internet contents directly into the living room.

The LG BD370 supports BD Live (BD-ROM Profile 2.0), which enables users to connect to the internet and download movie trailers, subtitles and other useful data. BD Live will also enable users to stream online media from YouTube with high-speed internet access and also enjoy multi-player interactive games and quizzes.

Stylish, high-end design catches the eye and maintains elegance in the home. The center panel light changes color to indicate the format currently in use; BD Live titles glow blue, changing to orange for DVDs and violet for CDs.

The LG BD370 gives the same outstanding performance in picture and sound quality as it does in online capabilities. It delivers stunning 1080p images with deep and vivid color, thanks to its HDMI 1.3 connections. This helps ensure that curves are smooth, details are sharp and colors are accurate, free from banding or artefacts.

Enhanced versatility is another strong point of the BD370, which can play a variety of formats from different media. Compatible file formats include DivX, MPEG4, video, JPEG, MP3, and WMA file formats. These can be stored on optical media like CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs or on USB memory.

The LG BD370 Blu-ray disc player will be available in April 2009 at all major consumer electronic retail outlets at a recommended retail price of SGD599.
