The Slimblade trackball uses a USB interface and detects the ball using a laser sensor. In addition, the trackball features  3 modes – Navigation, Media and View

  • Navigation – As the word implies, the usual movement of your cursor to navigate around
  • Media – Controls media elements but currently, the supported media application is iTunes. Rotating the ball left and rights control the volume
  • View – In this mode, you will be able to control the images or the web page you are viewing. Rotating the ball in a specific fashion allows you to either zoom and pan 

It will retail at 15,000yen (~S$230)
