We’re presumably a month away from Apple’s September event where it is expected to launch two new iPhones. We’ve seen many leaked components and parts of the much rumored iPhone 5C, now the purported volume buttons for this device have leaked online.
Since last year we have constantly been hearing about the possibility of Apple releasing not one but two different iPhone models together, something which the company hasn’t done before, ever. Its obvious that iPhone 5S is going to be one of these models, there’s no doubt in that. However there’s widespread speculation regarding the low cost iPhone, which is now widely known as the iPhone 5C. Apple still hasn’t confirmed if it plans on launch such a smartphone this year.
We’ve already seen various pictures of the iPhone 5C’s casing, it appears that the device will be offered in multiple colors. The volume buttons that have been leaked are also in different colors, thus adding weight to previous rumors regarding multiple color options. These images come from Sonny Dickson, who in the past leaked high quality images of the purported shell of iPhone 5C.
Apple appears to have gone for volume buttons that resemble those found on an iPod touch, not the round ones that are present on an iPhone 5. They seem to be made from plastic, which doesn’t come as a surprise, since it is believed that Apple hasn’t used aluminium in order to keep cost down. Nothing has been confirmed as yet about the iPhone 5C, for all we know this hype may be being generated by an early prototype that hasn’t even made it to production yet. Apple is expected to conduct an event on September 10th, hopefully we’ll know more by then.
