The Xeon E3-1500M v5 processor family will be based on Intel’s 6th Gen Skylake architecture and deliver high precision computing power in notebook for factors. Key features of mobile Xeon processors will be error-correcting code memory to automatically detect and repair errors, unique hardware-assisted security, Intel vPro technology, and Thunderbolt 3.
More information on the Xeon E3-1500M chips will be shared at a later date. Intel expects that the first notebooks with mobile Xeon processors will begin shipping by fall this year.
