Intel Added 2 More Quad Core Xeon CPUs

Intel launched two quad-core Intel Xeon processors; X5365 and L5335. X5365 is the industry’s first 3.0 GHz quad-core processor with 1333FSB at 120W TDP while L5335 clocks at 2.0 GHz with 1333FSB at 50W TDP. X5365 is selling for $ 1172 while L5335 is selling for $ 380. Using the SPECint_rate_base2006* benchmark, a Fujitsu-Siemens PRIMERGY RX300 S3 server based on the quad-core Intel Xeon Processor X5365 scored 98.9, setting a new world record.
