InFocus launches premium business and high-end home theatre projectors

Singapore, (26 Jan, 2010) — InFocus has announced its latest premium business projector models are now shipping. The InFocus IN5500 series include four new feature-rich HD projectors designed for businesses and professional AV installers, featuring high-performance optics.

InFocus IN5500 DLP projectors offer BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments, as well as native WXGA (1280×800) and WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution. Automatic sensors for ceiling detection and keystone eliminate commonly encountered radial distortions, including pin cushion and barrel distortion, enabling perfectly projected images even on imperfect surfaces. A new SplitScreen display option eliminates the need for multiple displays when video conferencing, using white boards or conducting collaborative presentations. The integration of long-life lamps and virtually maintenance-free design, make the IN5500 installation models the most cost effective high-performance projectors available.

The IN5500 series feature brightness of up to 7000 lumens, motorised lens shift and interchangeable lenses for short throw to ultra long throw projection, DLP DarkChip liquid cooled DMD technology and a dual lamp option (IN5532 and IN5534) for fail-safe non-stop operation.

The projectors are network-ready with full analog and HD video connectivity including wireless-ready support for InFocus LiteShow II or InFocus DisplayLink Wireless. In addition, custom case parts in multiple colors—white, black, walnut, or ready to paint—and a unique integrated cable management system offer elegant installations.

The InFocus IN5500 series is now available at SiS Technologies (Tel: 6419 7177) and Ingram Micro Asia Ltd (Tel: 6298 0888).
